Who We Need:

We are looking for a Customer Insights Analyst to join our team. In this role, you be tasked with uncovering key strategic insights for our portfolio of CPG clients, while also spearheading global analyses and insights communications across the 40+ markets where we operate.

Position Overview:

  • Develop an understanding of what drives our global clients and how to best support them on their endeavors;
  • Ensure the delivery of insightful reports to our global and key strategic clients that are closely aligned with their business strategy;
  • Support in the creation of case studies based upon client results and utilization of the Advantage Report;
  • Through statistical analysis, create Insights that can be utilized and turned into pieces of marketing collateral and thought leadership for use throughout the business.
  • Help conceive and develop reporting tools and services that will improve outputs and create efficiencies

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a data analytics and market-insights role
  • Superior MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Data Visualization. Proficient in Tableau and other software reporting tools
  • Exposure to and knowledge of the CPG and grocery industries

Considered An Asset:

  • Programming and/or knowledge in: SQL, R, Python, SAS and other data mining programming tools.
  • Experience in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI
  • Experience working in markets outside of North America

Characteristics:

  • An analytical mind with a high attention to detail and inclination to venture beyond the obvious data to dig out insights and land a story that drives strategic action
  • Passionate about the CPG and grocery retail landscape, with an understanding of the main trends and challenges that the industry is facing
  • Strong Communication & Storytelling skills (written and verbal). Comfortable presenting to and delivering recommendations to a broad range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive and curious. Takes initiative to come up with own hypothesis and proposals for further insights exploration, identifying opportunities for commercial case studies and data-driven thought leadership
  • Ability to work with a great sense of urgency while maintaining high standards and a connection to deliverables.
  • Ability to mobilize and leverage other team members to collaborate on high impact projects
  • Ability to be proactive and recommend improved approaches over current processes. An interest and willingness to learn new tools.
