The successful candidate ideally holds 3+ years of experience in a senior administrative, project management or market research role to manage the support activities necessary for successfully executing quality research and benchmarking studies. Current or recent experience in the grocery industry is desirable.

What Success Looks Like In This Role:

The Field Coordinator, South Cone manages the support activities necessary for executing Advantage benchmarking and custom programs. The Field Coordinator receives functional guidance from the Market Coordinator, the Country Manager and Program Management team in Toronto (PM), with shared responsibility for specific components of program execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Market Coordinator (MC), Project Coordinator (PC) and Country Manager (CM) and the program management team to ensure that the Advantage program runs on schedule and fits within the overall company-wide strategic goals to deliver effective outcomes
  • Obtains, manages and prepares account contact lists (ACL) for manufacturer and retailer clients, using the Latam format.
  • Manages field tasks like mail out of some surveys, provides guidance to respondents on how to complete the survey and reviews ratings received daily to ensure reportability of data
  • Work with the team members to gather and analyse requirements
  • Ensure direct communication with Operations during field work.
  • Provides ready to mail account contact lists to the Toronto program management team for the mail out of surveys
  • Proposes, obtains approval, and meets program dates.
  • Works with the MC and PC to identify key respondents for interviews
  • Monitors survey response coverage daily from all programs and provides status to Market Coordinator and Country Manager
  • Communicates with clients and retailers in follow-ups by phone, email and other ways of communication to ensure survey completion and field closes on time
  • Ensures enough ratings per client have been received prior to field closure
  • Ensures availability throughout the program cycle for questions from the Toronto program management team
  • Assists the MC, PC and CM with report assembly and preparation for client presentations
  • Assists the MC, PC and CM with writing some insights for client presentations
  • Work according to the values and principles of Advantage.
  • Seek improvement to processes, policies, systems, etc. that contribute to the improvement of the company and clients.
  • Any other function assigned.

Where You'll Be Located:

This role is home-office based, working remotely. Access to high-speed internet is necessary. The candidate could be based in Chile, Peru, Uruguay or any other South American country.

Expected Travel is limited but may include occasionally meeting with team or clients within country or region.

What We're Looking For:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant administrative, project management or market research experience
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong proficiency with excel formulas, particularly lookup functions (VLOOKUP/INDEX/MATCH), filters, conditional formatting, logical functions, and pivot tables
  • Experience with Tableau or other BI tools is considered an asset
  • Ability to communicate in English (verbal and reading) and local language
  • Comfortable managing large sets of data
