The Food & Beverage Innovation Forum 2018 (FBIF2018) is the leading F&B event in Asia and was held in Shanghai from April 18th to 20th, 2018. This three-day conference featured more than 90 speakers and played host to over 1,800 senior executives from the F&B industry.

Representatives from Advantage China were there not only as attendees but also engaged with fellow guests from our eye-catching and interactive booth located on the show floor.

Following the rebrand of Advantage Group International in early March, Advantage China’s booth featured the bold design of our Organization’s new brand identity. A focal point of the booth was the inclusion of testimonial videos on behalf of Advantage supplier and retailer clients worldwide speaking to the power that Advantage Report has had on their respective business-to-business relationships.

According to Advantage’s Country Manager for China, Jason Gao, the event provided an excellent platform to network with Chinese manufacturers not yet familiar with Advantage’s relationship benchmarking studies; opening opportunities for the Advantage China program to broaden its exposure in existing categories and expand the survey into new ones.

“In China, small, start-up manufacturers are gaining market share and are also responsible for creating new food categories”, says Jason. “These small brands are making their way onto the shelves of the major super and hypermarket chains. The retailers in the Advantage China program are able to rate them and want to know how they are rated by them in turn. As we expand our e-commerce offering, it is even more essential to feature them in our program given how the Chinese online market is evolving with representation from a wide variety of manufacturers.”
