Bruno Kong’s extensive FMCG experience in China will be key for executing Advantage Group International’s growth strategy for the market

Advantage Group International (AGI) announces the appointment of Bruno Kong as Managing Director of China. In this role, Bruno will lead a high-performing team to develop AGI’s presence in China and strengthen client retention and expansion in the market.

Based in Shanghai, China, Bruno brings over 25 years of marketing, sales, and account management experience working with FMCG companies. Most recently, Bruno worked for Shanghai Shi Chen Food Technology, where he was responsible for the supply chain, new product development, and packaging.

Bruno has also held several leadership roles during his career, including Managing Director of Turners International Marketing (China), Marketing Director for Specialized (China), and Senior Marketing Manager for Moen(China) Kitchen and Bath. At Turners International Marketing, one of Bruno’s key achievements was successfully establishing the 27000 mineral water brand. 27000 water is now one of the top three drinking water brands in the online channel.

Notably, Bruno has also worked for leading FMCG companies like Wyeth/Pfizer Nutrition (now Nestlé Wyeth Nutrition), Johnson & Johnson and Procter & Gamble China. Bruno’s vast experience gives him unique insights into the opportunities within the Chinese FMCG landscape. He also has valuable skills in relationship management, leadership, and brand strategy development and execution.
