Anti-Slavery Statement

Advantage Group’s Anti-Slavery and Trafficking Statement

Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps Advantage Group International has taken to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain during the financial year ending 31st December 2024.

Advantage Group International is committed to maintaining high ethical standards and ensuring that modern slavery, in any form, has no place in our operations or those of our partners and suppliers.

Our Structure and Supply Chains

Advantage Group International provides business to business engagement solutions globally and has a global supply chain, including relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors. We recognise that there are risks of modern slavery within certain parts of our supply chain and take proactive steps to mitigate these risks.

Our Policies and Approach

To prevent and address modern slavery risks, we have implemented the following policies and actions:

  • Anti-slavery and trafficking policy: We require all suppliers and partners to comply with our Policy, which expressly prohibits modern slavery and human trafficking.
  • Supplier Audits: We conduct regular audits and due diligence on our suppliers to ensure compliance with our anti-slavery policies.
  • Training and Awareness: Our staff, particularly those in procurement and supply chain roles, receive training on modern slavery risks and how to identify and report potential issues.
  • Grievance Mechanism: We maintain a confidential grievance procedure that allows employees and third parties to report concerns related to slavery or human trafficking.

Risk Assessment and Due Diligence

We regularly assess the risks of modern slavery in our supply chains, particularly in regions or industries that are deemed higher-risk. Where risks are identified, we engage directly with our suppliers to ensure effective corrective action.

Effectiveness and Continuous Improvement

We monitor the effectiveness of our actions to combat modern slavery through:

  • Ongoing Supplier Engagement: Regular communication and review of our suppliers’ practices.
  • Internal Reviews: Annual reviews of our modern slavery prevention efforts and procedures.
  • Enhanced Due Diligence: Strengthening due diligence in high-risk areas of our supply chain.

Looking Forward

Advantage Group International remains committed to improving our practices to combat modern slavery and human trafficking. We will continue to work closely with our suppliers and partners to promote ethical business practices and ensure transparency.

This statement was approved by the board of directors on 3rd October 2024 and is signed by John Shanahan, Chairperson.
