AGI Launches in India to Help Retailers & Suppliers

Advantage Group International (AGI) is pleased to announce the launch of its full program in India this year. This marks a significant milestone in AGI’s future growth as India is forecast to be the fastest-growing of the largest global grocery markets, according to the Institute of Grocery Distribution.

Advantage Group Leverages India’s Market Potential for B2B Engagement Solutions

Our company’s commitment to consistently delivering value for our clients by expanding our global coverage contributed to the decision to expand AGI’s services in India. Though general trade dominates the Indian market, there is ample opportunity for business-to-business (B2B) engagement solutions as the modern trade sector is relatively concentrated compared to other Asian economies. AGI will have the ability to provide clients valuable feedback across modern trade, e-commerce, and general trade.

How Advantage Group is Serving Retailers and Suppliers in India

The need for the syndicated Advantage Report in India and our commitment to deliver more value to our clients led us to launch a full-scale, comprehensive offering in India.

We’re launching the following:

Advantage Report Voice of the Customer: This program will cover hyper, super, drug, convenience, and wholesale sectors, as well as e-commerce.

Advantage Custom Solutions – General Trade: India has the second-largest general trade market, nearly twice the size of the world’s third-largest, Indonesia. Additionally, most of the country’s non-urban shoppers rely on kirana stores—small, sometimes family-owned stores that sell a wide range of everyday essentials. Advantage Custom Solutions programs will provide a tailored approach to accommodate the uniqueness of B2B relationships within general trade and kirana stores.

For the 2025 program cycle, Advantage Group India will begin conducting market research in June and deliver reports in the fourth quarter of 2025.
